Registered Nurse / ER

Summary

The ED RN is a professional RN accomplished in primary assessment, effective triage, direct observation, specialized nursing care and attention to individual patient needs based on nursing processes including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. He/she is responsible for delegation and supervision of personnel participating in provision of care ensuring patient needs and expected outcomes are met.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Registered School of Nursing Program.  Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.  Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, BTLS or TNCC certification required within 6 months of employment.  ER experience preferred.  Two years hospital employment preferred. 

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Current NC RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS required within 6 months of hire. BTLS or TNCC preferred but not required.
